General Terms and Conditions of sale
 

These are RHP Dining Limited Terms and Conditions of sale to which all telephone purchases are subject to. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, without notice. Any changes will take effect when posted on this website. By using this website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

1. THE CONTRACT
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us (RHP Dining Limited) and you, (the customer), will take place when the goods have been paid for by you and despatched by us. Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by RHP Dining Limited of your order.

In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description, we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the options to proceed with this revised order at the correct price/description, or to cancel the order. In these circumstances, upon cancellation, your credit/debit card will be refunded in full.

1b. Price Information
The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the RHP Dining Limited. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion that differs from those online. Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online.

All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.

All prices are shown in £ sterling and include V.A.T. where appropriate. We regret we are not able to offer VAT exclusive pricing for deliveries to the Channel Islands.

If an administrative error has resulted in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct that price and notify you accordingly. In these circumstances, it will be deemed that a contract has not been entered into and you will not be bound to continue with your purchase. You will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed at the correct price, however, should you choose not to do so, your monies will be refunded to your credit/debit card in full. The repayment of such monies paid to us will be the extent of our liability to you in the event of pricing errors.

2. ORDERING GOODS
We only accept orders over the telephone originating from and for delivery to UK addresses.

All orders placed on RHP Dining Limited Direct are subject to stock availability and to the validation checks described in section 4 below. Also please refer to section 1 above regarding incorrect prices. No contract will exist until payment has been received and goods have been dispatched. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you.

Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded is English.

3. PAYMENT
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards registered at UK addresses.

Please ensure that the expiry date of your credit/debit card is after the anticipated despatch date of your order. Payment will be debited from your account on the same day you place your telephone order with us. If your payment card has expired, we will be unable to take payment and fulfil your order.

We regret that we are unable to accept payment by cheque, cash, or any other form of payment other than credit or debit cards.

Please note: We do not store and/or retain any credit or debit card information.

How do I get a refund?

By Phone
When you call Customer Services to arrange your return we will refund your account within 7 working days of receipt of the returned goods.

4. VALIDATION CHECKS
All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

5. LIABILITY
The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.

6. DELIVERY OF GOODS
We can only deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. For deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands there may be an additional surcharge imposed by our carriers and a slightly longer delivery lead-time.

Your order will be delivered either by Royal Mail, Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by courier. A signature is required for all Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and courier deliveries.

If your order contains more than one product the individual products may, on occasions, be sent on multiple dispatches at no extra charge.

6a. Delivery Charges
The delivery charge for each item will be detailed for your order before we process it. We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. The delivery charge depends on the size and weight of the product ordered and the delivery service option you choose.

6b. Delivery Times
Standard delivery of stocked items is normally within 3 working days. Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.

Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.

We reserve the right to alter or amend delivery times in exceptional circumstances.

We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. In the event that we fail to meet a specified delivery date you will have the option of either cancelling your order and receiving a full refund, or continuing with the order and accepting a refund of any additional delivery charge we have made.

Delivery times quoted above can vary depending on stock availability and delivery location.

7. AFTER-SALES SERVICE AND GUARANTEES
Where applicable, details of manufacturers' guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product. After sales service and warranty/guarantee claims will initially be dealt with by E-mail through the web site.

8. RESTRICTIONS ON ORDERING AND DELIVERY
We can only accept orders from holders of credit or debit cards registered at UK addresses.

We can deliver to most addresses in the U.K. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to non-UK destinations, Please contact us if you require further details. All goods are subject to availability.

9. COMPLAINTS AND QUERIES
If you are not happy with any aspect of our service, discover a fault with our website, or if you have any queries or comments relating to an order placed, please contact us and we will do everything we can to help you.

Your access to the RHP Dining Limited website may occasionally be restricted to allow for the introduction of new products or features, site development, maintenance or repairs. We will attempt to restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.

10. UNWANTED GOODS/ORDER CANCELLATION
1) If you decide that you do not want any item that we have delivered, we are happy to offer you an exchange or refund within 28 days of delivery, provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the wrapping and delivery note (as proof of purchase).

2: You can cancel your order and receive a immediate refund at any time after you have placed your order but before the goods have been despatched, please call customer service number immediately that you decide to cancel any order placed with us and we will confirm shipping status.

Methods of return are as follows:

1) By post
To return an item by post you must firstly contact us via E-mail and we will issue a Returns Authorisation which must accompany the goods being returned. Items returned without a Returns Authorisation cannot be accepted.

Let us know which item(s) you wish to return, and the details of any fault, along with your customer order number and your personal details and we will send you an email containing a returns note. When you receive this email, simply print out the returns note and place it in your parcel with the item(s) you wish to return. Please package your item(s) securely, returning in the original outer packaging where possible. All items returned by post (unless faulty) are returned at your cost. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post. If you post your item(s) back to us, we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 14 days, providing your Returns Authorisation is included with the items returned.

For faulty items, we will, upon receipt of the product, examine it or we may have to return it to the manufacturer for examination. We aim to dispatch a replacement product, arrange a repair or refund your money within 14 days, providing your Returns Authorisation is included with the items returned.

We will endeavour to process returns within 14 working days of receipt.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

BUSINESS PRIVACY POLICY:
This privacy policy sets out how RHP Dining Limited uses and protects any information that you give RHP Dining Limited when you order goods from us.

RHP Dinging Limited is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when ordering from us, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

RHP Dining Limited may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 10th February 2010.

What we collect:
We may collect the following information:
• name
• contact information including email address
• demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests

Please note: We do not store ANY of your financial information used to process your order.

What we do with the information we gather:
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
• internal record keeping.
• we may use the information to improve our products and services.
• we may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
